Virginia DRPT: An agency’s great work gains greater awareness

The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) keeps our people – and our economy – in motion. The agency oversees programs, initiatives and grant opportunities that support 40 bus providers, light rail, paratransit, ferryboat, commuter assistance programs, and both freight and passenger rail. These efforts reduce traffic congestion and carbon emissions – and our job is to help them build awareness and ridership. We’ve also been called on to create work that educates residents on the services and successes of DRPT, through multimedia campaigns and the agency’s hero video.
