Siddall Communications was tasked with building public awareness of Vanpool Alliance, a public-private partnership in Northern Virginia with a mission to promote and support vanpooling and serve as a resource for riders and providers.
With a modest budget for the northern Virginia market, we executed a media plan consisting of Facebook ads, banner ads, YouTube, search and traffic tags to reach business professionals. Our creative tied into the nostalgia of 1960s pop art as a way to express the benefits of vanpooling in a fun, throwback way. To make it a truly cohesive campaign we updated the collateral and website to match.
Since the campaign launched, the number website users is up 171% over the previous timeframe, pageviews are up 122%, and Vanpool Alliance’s reach on Facebook has increased significantly. The client has also received a higher amount of organic phone calls that they attribute to the campaign.
